NEW DATE FOR 61ST AGM – SUNDAY 29 AUG AT 3pm!

Dear Members,

With the recent easing of COVID restrictions in South Australia, the limit on numbers allowed inside have increased to 75% capacity, which is currently 180 members inside our Club. As a result of this, we have been able to reschedule the 61st AGM to Sunday 29 August 2021 at 3pm at the Club.

Attached to this email is the same agenda that was sent to members for the previously scheduled date of 25 July. The only thing that has been altered is the date to reflect the new date of August 29.

I am also resending the 2020/21 Financials for your convenience. Due to the changing time our Treasurer can’t be there so if there are any questions regarding financials and related motions, please contact Cassandra Stoodley beforehand at spslsctreasurer@gmail.com or 0421 127 599.

To the members who advised they were apologies and had appointed proxies for the previously scheduled date of 25 July, you will need to send through your apologies and proxies again if you cannot attend the new date.

Please send through any apologies and proxies to the Secretary at mail@southportslsc.org.au by Sunday 22 August to allow time to cross-check member voting eligibility.

PLEASE NOTE: Members with voting rights who cannot attend the meeting – Active, Reserve Active, Life Member, Award, Long Service, Foundation members – can appoint one (1) member who must also hold voting eligibility to be their proxy. Both the member and the proxy must also give their consent in writing (via email/SMS/Messenger only) to the Secretary at the email address above preferably by the date above, but apologies and proxies will be accepted on the day, provided they are received prior to the commencement of the meeting. A member cannot hold multiple proxies and can only hold their own vote plus one other proxy.

Please also be advised that we will also be presenting the following five members SLSA Long Service Awards at the AGM:
