South Port SLSC would like to invite you to our Official Open Day.

“Our Club” would like to be “Your Club” for you and your family as Members to enjoy. As with anything new, it will take a while to get to know who’s who, but given time, you will become part of what is a fantastic club environment with an emphasis on family and fun. Surf Life Saving brings children and families together to have fun, meet new friends and learn to live healthy active lives and more importantly be aware of beach and water safety.

Join or not to join, is entirely up to you, but as a Club, we encourage involvement and assistance. Hopefully, like many before you, you will be part of this wonderful surf lifesaving culture for many years to come. Membership is also a great way to develop new skills, even as far as obtaining your Life Saving Bronze Medallion or becoming an Age Group Manager or Official.

Registrations* will be available from 11.30am, in the Clubhouse.

No worries! Every Saturday is Come ‘n’ Try at South Port SLSC!!

What to bring to the beach:
South Port has a Sun Smart policy, so children need to bring the following with them, as well as a change of clothes for afterwards:

Wide brimmed hat Bathers Thongs/ sandals Goggles (optional) Shorts/ boardies/ Rashy/ Long-sleeved top Towel Water Bottle (clearly named) Sunscreen (also to be applied prior to coming to Nippers) Jumper/tracksuit pants if cold weather Please contact Graham, our Club Liaison Officer at mail@southportslsc.org.au for further information
*For your child to register for Nippers, they must be at least 5 years old and no older than 12 years as of 30th September.
